About Ken Kvamme
I am a realist artist working in oils and other media where I focus on portraiture, historical illustration, and what the Art Renewal Center refers to as "Imaginative Realism." My artwork has been published and shown in galleries from Colorado to Pennsylvania and from Illinois to Arkansas with numerous awards, and I have displayed in the Illuxcon and Spectrum Fantastic Art Live shows. I also have a passion for photography, particularly of natural settings, which frequently contributes to my painted work.

Congratulations on your recent sale of an amazing work....“When you want to make the main color pure and bright, don’t just keep adding bright colors on it. Just make the colors around the spot darker and dull. It will give the scene dramatical effects. I think the life is the same.” Hiroko Sakai....
